The company has five hearing impaired employees. Three of them have worked in the sewing department for eleven years; one seamstress has worked for six years and one cutter has been offered to stay at the company after her practical training after school in 2010.
Our collaboration with Klaipeda Dressmaking and Business School which has education programs even for deaf and hearing impaired people creates opportunities both for students to develop their skills in the profession and for the company to employ trained personnel.
