Industrial Sewing and Assembly Moving to the Klaipeda Free Economic Zone

Be-Ge Baltic UAB has had a positive development and has for the third year in a row been nominated to Lithuania’s Gazelle as one of the most successful and fastest growing companies in the country. The company has also been chosen as this year’s social partner of Klaipeda Dressmaking and services business school, awarded as one of the healthiest companies in Klaipeda and participated in an EU project on vocational training in the sewing industry. Be-Ge Baltic UAB has outgrown its premises for the second time within a 4-year period due to its expansion.

Be-Ge Baltic UAB has therefore signed an agreement with the Klaipeda Free Economic Zone to lease 1.1 hectare land near the port of Klaipeda. After all permits are obtained, the company will build a plant of approximately 3,200 m², requiring an estimated investment of €2,4m. The construction is scheduled to start in the beginning of next year and the new plant is expected to be ready by the end of 2015. The need for larger factory premises has been initiated to meet a growing market, and also to improve the efficiency of business processes in the areas of industrial sewing, upholstering, assembly and management. After the completion of the project all activities will gather under one roof in the new building. The purpose of the larger production facilities is to give space for a continued expansion within industrial sewing, upholstering and assembly, and to ensure growth opportunities for our customers with cost effective production. The new plant will be constructed with modern and environmentally friendly solutions and the latest technology within industrial sewing, upholstering and assembly.
