In December 2013, Be-Ge Baltic along with other companies attended at the meeting organized by the Klaipeda Dressmaking and Service Business School. There were discussed traineeships opportunities at production companies which would give possibility for students to acquire practical skills within industrial sewing and also possibility for the employers to meet potential employees and contribute to their development.
Be-Ge Baltic, in cooperation with the school, is already offering the traineeship opportunities for trainees studying cutting and sewing, and some of them have been offered employment after their traineeship.
The company appreciates and helps young people with a theoretical background to learn to work in accordance with the requirements for the sewing industry today and provides them with opportunities to test and develop their skills within cutting and industrial sewing. Trainees have possibilities to be involved in all processes of production of upholstery for furniture and vehicle seats which range from cutting, various sewing operations to a whole sewing of upholstery. In addition, they get to know even daily work routines and the social environment within the company.
