On Monday, November 7, 2016 an official inauguration ceremony was held for the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Klaipėda.
Ambassador of Sweden Maria Christina Lundqvist and Honorary Consul of Sweden Vaida Vaičaitienė inaugurated the consulate which now is based in Be-Ge Baltic’s premises.
The Ambassador expressed her pleasure that the new consul is a young woman leading a successful company and speaking perfect Swedish. The consulate will be a closer opportunity in Western Lithuania to further develop relations between the countries and people.
