On December 13th we celebrated Lucia, a special day that has old traditions in Sweden, when the light returns, and the winter solstice approaches. For the first time, Lucia songs in Swedish were presented by a team of first year students of Swedish language at Klaipėda University and pupils at Klaipėda Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium at a coffee brake to our personnel to experience this beautiful Swedish tradition. Together with Be-Ge Baltics board members and representatives of the Swedish community in Klaipeda region, we watched the light-bearing Lucia procession, tasted Lucia saffron buns, baked by our employees and Swedish gingerbread cookies. Ingemar Persson, one of the Be-Ge group owners, expressed his appreciation that Lucia celebration came to Be-Ge Baltic and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
