The last financial year 1/5/2011-30/4/2012 has been characterized by some stagnation due to the general economic situation in the world. Despite that we still can be glad in continued positive results, new projects and increased number of new requests, which already results in a noticeable improvement of order intake.
During the year, Be-Ge Baltic developed the production of upholstery and cushions, and invested in new sewing machines for leather, as well as new equipment for covering of office chairs, vehicles seats and wheelchairs.
The company has also intensified its work on strengthening the purchasing functions. External and internal training, active fair and supplier visits have resulted in a broader supplier base and deeper knowledge of different materials and functions.
To ensure a safe and healthy working environment Be-Ge Baltic conducted a risk assessment of workplaces at the cutting, industrial sewing, covering and assembly departments.
The company has been awarded as Gazelle company in 2011 by the Lithuanian business daily Verslo Zinios (Swedish DI). This means that Be-Ge Baltic is one of 200 fastest growing companies in the country.
Our common successive work has resulted in that Be-Ge Baltic is now facing to increased needs for production, storage and office spaces. Several options will be evaluated for the upcoming expansion.
During the financial year 2012/2013, the company plans continued investment in new customers and export markets in both sewing and assembly, the efficiency of processes and development of the business management system with a focus on purchasing and stock management.
