Be-Ge Baltic has a tradition to organize a trip for the employees in September every year. This year we visited the unique cross hill in northern Lithuania and for the first time during our five-year history of the tours, we passed the Lithuanian border to discover a magnificent palace in Rundale and a fabulous rabbit village near Code in Latvia.
The last financial year 1/5/2011-30/4/2012 has been characterized by some stagnation due to the general economic situation in the world. Despite that we still can be glad in continued positive results, new projects and increased number of new requests, which already results in a noticeable improvement of order intake. During the year, Be-Ge Baltic developed the production of upholstery and cushions, and invested in new sewing machines for leather, as well as new equipment for covering of office chairs, vehicles seats and wheelchairs.
Be-Ge Baltic has invested in new sewing machines for further development of the production of leather slipcovers. Sewing costs represent only a small part of the total price of a leather slipcover in relation to the cost of the material, but the high sewing quality is especially important in sewing leather. Our experienced seamstresses have now better opportunities to increase flexibility, capacity and efficiency. By investing in people and good work equipment, we follow consistently our concept to provide high quality industrial sewing, upholstering and assembly to our customers in the automotive, furniture and other industries.
