DNV GL audit confirmed in November 2014 that Be-Ge Baltic consistently applies ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental management standards and makes continuous improvements within cutting, sewing, upholstery and assembly areas. Using ISO standards and Lean methods the company improves internal processes by focusing on the needs of customers and higher added value through cost -effective and flexible manufacturing, purchasing and communication.
Be-Ge Baltic UAB has had a positive development and has for the third year in a row been nominated to Lithuania’s Gazelle as one of the most successful and fastest growing companies in the country. The company has also been chosen as this year’s social partner of Klaipeda Dressmaking and services business school, awarded as one of the healthiest companies in Klaipeda and participated in an EU project on vocational training in the sewing industry. Be-Ge Baltic UAB has outgrown its premises for the second time within a 4-year period due to its expansion.
The last fiscal year 2013/2014 has again been marked by a steady growth. Order increasing has resulted in a turnover increase of about 14 % compared with the previous fiscal year. Our work bears fruit and creates opportunities for new developing and interesting projects within sewing, upholstering and assembly of automotive seats, office and audience chairs, wheelchairs and other products where knowledge in sewing, upholstering and assembly is required to create the best possible solutions by the efficient way.

The final meeting and the conference was held 8-9 May 2014 in Klaipeda Dressmaking and services business school to review the activities and results of Leonardo da Vinci partnership project “A Way Towards Effective Vocational Training of Deaf/ Hearing Impaired People”. The different experiences and knowledge have been summarised in the Recommendations, aimed to improve competences of teachers, working with deaf/hearing impaired persons, on the basis of international experience.
Be-Ge Baltic was named Social Partner of the Year by Klaipeda Dressmaking and services business school on March 12, 2014. The company has been cooperating with the school for many years. It has become a tradition that students from this school make their traineeship at cutting, sewing and assembly departments of the company. The company usually donates raw materials that are left over from production to the school and attends as a partner from industry sector in the school’s projects.
Be-Ge Baltic has participated in a competition for the healthiest company, arranged by Klaipėda Public Health Bureau. The employees were able to get a free health tests and assessment and were informed about the free national health preventive programs.
Be-Ge Baltic UAB attended the 4rd meeting in London in February 2014 together with partners from Lithuania, Spain, Ireland and the United Kingdom for further development of Leonardo da Vinci partnership project “A Way Towards Effective Vocational Training of Deaf/ Hearing Impaired People”.
Students from Lithuania and Ireland with help of the Spanish teachers trialed the material of the Recommendations that have been developed during the project.
The Students created covers for the Recommendations with symbols from the project countries and, using IT tools, supplemented them with pictures from a cultural outing in London.
The project’s final conference will be held in May 2014 in Klaipeda (Lithuania).
In December 2013, Be-Ge Baltic along with other companies attended at the meeting organized by the Klaipeda Dressmaking and Service Business School. There were discussed traineeships opportunities at production companies which would give possibility for students to acquire practical skills within industrial sewing and also possibility for the employers to meet potential employees and contribute to their development. Be-Ge Baltic, in cooperation with the school, is already offering the traineeship opportunities for trainees studying cutting and sewing, and some of them have been offered employment after their traineeship.
